What Do We Fundraise For?

At Strength In Sundaes, every dollar raised goes toward supporting families navigating the challenges of cancer. Inspired by our own family's journey, we understand how overwhelming a cancer diagnosis can be—not only emotionally, but financially and socially as well.

Our mission is to help families create meaningful memories, access support, and find moments of joy during difficult times.

What Do We Do With the Money?

Scholarship Program

Cancer affects the entire family, especially children. Through our scholarship program, we provide financial assistance to help children and teens participate in meaningful life experiences, educational opportunities, extracurricular activities, camps, and other programs that may otherwise be out of reach during a family's cancer journey.

Chemotherapy Care Bags

One of our signature initiatives is assembling and distributing chemotherapy care bags to local hospitals and cancer treatment centers. These bags contain comfort items, practical essentials, encouragement, and thoughtful gifts designed to bring a little brightness to patients during treatment.

Meals Matter Initiative

When a loved one is battling cancer, preparing meals can become an overwhelming task. Through our Meals Matter Initiative, we partner with local businesses, organizations, and community members to help provide meal support and resources to cancer families so they can focus on what matters most—time together.

Family Support & Connections

A cancer diagnosis can feel incredibly isolating. We strive to connect families facing similar experiences, offering encouragement, understanding, and support. Sometimes the most meaningful help comes from simply knowing someone else understands what you're going through.

Community Events & Fundraisers

We sponsor and participate in community events that raise awareness, inspire hope, and bring people together in support of cancer families. These events help create lasting memories while generating funds to continue our mission.

Volunteerism & Advocacy

We actively volunteer with cancer organizations throughout our community and participate in speaking engagements to share our family's story. By raising awareness and advocating for families affected by cancer, we hope to inspire others to make a difference.

Spreading Positivity

Not every act of kindness has to be large. Sometimes a smile, encouraging message, thoughtful gift, or small gesture can brighten someone's day. We believe positivity is powerful, and we are committed to spreading hope, kindness, and encouragement wherever we can.
